Quotes and pricing

Package prices are starting points. Every project receives a written quote after we review the requirements, and work begins only after you approve it. Estimates from the Project Estimator are planning aids, not binding quotes. If scope changes mid-project, we agree on the adjustment in writing before continuing. Every project starts with a free initial design direction (mockup) — no deposit is required to see it. Once you approve the direction, the project is billed at the milestones stated in your quote.

Ownership

When a project is paid in full, you own the website: design, code, content, and domain. There is no platform lock-in, and we’ll hand everything off cleanly if you ever move on.

Revisions and timelines

Each package includes a stated number of revision rounds. Timelines are estimates and depend on timely feedback and content from you; we flag any risk to the schedule as soon as we see it.

Care plans

Care plans are billed monthly and can be canceled anytime, effective at the end of the billing period. Small updates are tasks of roughly thirty minutes; unused updates don’t roll over. “Unlimited” on Pro Care means unlimited small updates within fair use — one active request at a time. Redesigns, new pages, and feature builds are quoted separately.

Payments

No payment is required to receive your free initial design direction under the Free Mockup Guarantee below. After you approve the direction, the first invoice stated in your quote reserves your build slot and development begins; remaining payments are due at the milestones stated in your quote. Invoices unpaid fourteen days past their due date may pause work and delay the schedule until resolved.

Free Mockup Guarantee

Joma Labs projects begin with a free initial design direction (mockup), prepared before any payment is made. After reviewing it, the client decides whether to move forward. If the direction is not right, the client simply walks away — nothing is owed.

Scope of the free mockup:

• It covers the initial design direction only — one concept, presented before revisions
• Revision rounds, development, and the full build begin after the direction is approved and the first invoice stated in the quote is paid
• Project availability and scope remain subject to review before the mockup is prepared

If the client chooses not to proceed:

• The design concepts and project materials remain the property of Joma Labs and may not be used, reproduced, shared, published, or distributed
• Any project licenses or usage rights are withdrawn
• Third-party costs the client asked us to purchase (such as domains or software licenses) are not refundable
• The project is considered cancelled, with nothing further owed by either side

Project pauses

If a project stalls because content, feedback, or approvals are outstanding for more than thirty days, we may place it on hold and resume it in the next available scheduling window. We’ll always flag this before it happens.

Third-party services

Hosting, domains, and any paid third-party software (booking systems, email platforms, plugins) are billed by those providers directly to you and are not included in package prices. We’ll recommend options and handle the setup.

What we ask of you

Provide content and feedback within the agreed windows, and ensure any materials you give us (text, images, logos) are yours to use.

Portfolio display

We may display completed work in our portfolio and marketing unless you ask us not to — just tell us in writing and we’ll keep the project private.

Ending a project early

Either side may end a project before completion with written notice. You pay for the work completed to that point and receive everything produced so far; any payment beyond the completed work is returned.

After launch

We correct defects in our work — things that are broken, not new requests — free of charge for thirty days after launch. Ongoing updates beyond that window are covered by care plans or quoted separately.

Liability

We build carefully and test thoroughly, but no website can be guaranteed uninterrupted or error-free. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the work in question.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
